About Me

I’m Vlad Troncea, a certified Intimacy Coordinator and performer based in London, working internationally across film, television, and stage.

I trained at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in the UK as part of its first cohort of Intimacy Coordinators.

I hold a BA in Performing Arts from the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, and I have over 15 years of experience as an actor and dancer. This background shapes my practice and allows me to understand both cast and crew needs while translating the narrative of intimacy scenes into movement.

I’m also the first Romanian Intimacy Coordinator, bringing this growing discipline to the country’s film and TV industry.

Things I enjoy: contemporary dance, European cinema, tennis, coffee, night walks, and opera.

Artists I greatly admire: Pedro Almodóvar, Crystal Pite, Dimitris Papaioannou, Cristian Mungiu, Michael Haneke, Nadine Labaki, Lisette Oropesa, Xavier Dolan, and Asghar Farhadi.
